My collection of elastics found on the street. B My collection of elastics found on the street.

Believe it or not, there was a time I got by with 7 bucks a week for food and I didn't waste money on anything other than food. That's when I started collecting these.

The coolest thing is that my husband and kid now also do this.

When people see it they sometimes give a weird look. Like: Yo poohr? And I give back one like: No, mam. Just picking up other people's trash and washing it with my laundry, because I can.

So yeah, that works nice for me. Also it's not so boring with all the different colors. The most common though are thick black ones, which I don't like :/ And I've even found a bunch of scrunchies!

Lemon water... another dumb influencer thing. Ot Lemon water... another dumb influencer thing.

Other than it tastes nice and has no calories, there is no reason, no need and no relevant benefit* to drinking lemon water.

Some claim that it helps regulate your stomach acid. Girl, if you have a problem with your stomach juices, go see an internist. I have nothing against natural remedies. I smear peppermint oil on my forehead against headaches and it works fine for me. But lemon water? All it does is fck up your enamel.

I like one every once in a while. Because lemons are cheap af and I always have some in the house. I like the taste, with a little bit of mint. It is refreshing. But I don't think it's healthier than just drinking normal tap water (in Germany this is really well checked and high quality).

I also really don't like the whole #thatgirl #aesthetic. As in young attractive hustling women. Do we really need more of that? I am not for hustle culture. For hard work, yes, but constantly obsessing and hovering over your goals: no. My time with my kid, my hobbies, my passions is too important to me for that. Also, what is it with all the sh*tting on nine-to-fives? (Especially from people who "work" as influencers out of their parents' or spouses' homes, selling you over-priced online courses, and have never seen the inside of a multi million dollar company or even get what it means to have to negotiate a deal on which hundreds of jobs depend... The audacity.)

Anyway, here is my pretty litte lemon water, but what I drink instead most of the time during summer:

· iced tea (not tea that got cold!!)
· berry water (preferably with iced berries from the freezer!)
· a cold beer
· fresh peppermint water
· cinnamon+cardamom lassi

Would you like some pictures/recipes?

*Erratum/Annotation: I found a study that actually showed that it reduces the glycemic response. So if you eat a massive amount of sugary food, a few spoons of lemon juice might ease out the sugar peak. BUT, and this is a huge but: If you eat that kind of crap on a regular basis, you kind of have other fish to fry. Changing your diet is way more important than trying to balance out a crappy diet with "natural" method to trick your brain...
Deviating from art school 😛 This is what we wou Deviating from art school 😛

This is what we would call 💩 art in art school. Like, stuff that 100% requires no skill other than "user skills", "manual skills" or some sort of "craftsy 💩"... Yeah ;D

Don't care. You can order my 💩 art on Etsy. I will continue to make 💩 art, cause I like it. Right now 💩 is sold out (just kidding, I just haven't put it on yet), but I'm actually painting this 💩 on canvas. So yeah. Do you like the colors? :))

Answer: None.

Health is not about weight. I mean, it is. But the BMI does not apply to small people and many other "fringe folks" 😉 By BMI I was underweight for 80% of my life. And that's BS.

Pic (1) I'm at 52 kg, which is normal by BMI = 20+ (25 is obese). But by waist-to-hip ratio I'm obese (that is more than just overweight and at risk for heart disease! Heart disease runs in my family, btw.)

Pic (2) is taken just a few weeks after I had my baby. My belly is still huge, but it was the first time I could fit in my pre-preggy pants. My weight was 44 kg. Even for me, that was too low. Yet I still had a hanging belly (and no, it was not skin, it was fat), my thighs were rubbing against each other, and I felt sluggish and weak.

You can not tell one's health from a picture. You can for sure tell that a person might have health issues. Yes, you can. If someone looks sick, too skinny, obese, sure. You can draw *some* conclusions. But from Instagram pics (those were from stories) like those: no. You can't tell. You can not see my belly, my legs look small photographed from above, you can not see that those pants both hurt my and I had painful indentations in the evening. I felt like sh_t in both pictures and my body composition wasn't healthy. I'm just good at taking photos, I guess.

The more real photos, no, they will not go on IG, as I said, but I have been planning for a long time to share my "fitness journey" on Patreon. I am doing that atm, with Patreon-only blog posts. And I also started a support group for all sorts of things like being more motivated, doing yoga regularly and so on. If you're interested, let me know, and we are going to get on top of our fears together.
